Borrowed From Kelbie
( ) go out with me?
( ) give me your number?
( ) let me kiss you?
( ) have sex with me?
( ) play an SM scene with me?
( ) watch a movie with me... even a really sappy one?
( ) let me take you out to dinner?
( ) drive me somewhere/anywhere?
( ) take a shower with me?
( ) be my gf?
( ) have a fling with me?
( ) listen to me if I called you, crying, even if you were out with all of your friends?
( ) buy me a drink if I didn't have money?
( ) take me home for the night?
( ) let me sleep in your bed?
( ) sing car karaoke with me?
( ) sit in the doctor's office with me because I didn't want to go alone?
( ) come and pick me up at 3am because my car ran out of petrol in the middle of nowhere?
( ) re-post this for me to answer your questions?
For Kelbie I guess I'd have to say all of the above LOL! *wink*
So... anyone willing to answer for me?

Voter Apathy
My friend Lewis makes a good point about apathy over on his blog.
…the case against voting remains: the differences between the parties amount to flushing the country down different drains, rather than fishing it out the bog altogether.

Firefox Market Share Continues To Rise
As reported by The Register today, Firefox's market share has doubled and is now 10.28%, with IE holding onto 83.7%.
How long before Firefox grabs hold of 25% of the market I wonder. 50 million downloads isn't far away either!

Back To Normal
Well that's St George's day over for another year, so my blog's all back to normal again. I way prefer all the lovely blues, the red is pretty hideous really... but it had to be done. :)

How High?
The following concerns a question in a physics degree exam at the University of Copenhagen:
"Describe how to determine the height of a skyscraper with a barometer."
One student replied:
"You tie a long piece of string to the neck of the barometer, then lower the barometer from the roof of the skyscraper to the ground. The length of the string plus the length of the barometer will equal the height of the building."

Installing MSN Messenger 7
Latest Build: 7.5.0299.
I decided I wanted to write a little tutorial on how to install the latest version of MSN Messenger 7, plus a few little extras to make it so much easier and cooler to use.
Installing MSN Messenger
Firstly you need to download the MSN Messenger installer from the Official Download Site.
Once it's downloaded, click on the file to install it. Now during the installation you will be presented with this screen:

I'd recommend unticking ALL the checkboxes, unless you really want any of those options installed. Now you can continue installing Messenger.
Once the installation is complete, MSN Messenger will open. :)
More instructions follow...

I'll be posting new pics on my gallery soon. :)

Movable Type 3.16 Released!
The latest version of my favourite blogging software (Movable Type) was released on the 18th, and with it comes over 100 bug fixes and tweaks.
Stupidly I uploaded the upgrade version right over my install, wiping out some of my hacks in one fell swoop. Since I've tweaked files here and there without making a proper note of any of them, I'll have to try to work out what I've done and where... then make a note HERE!
On the matter of notifications, they work fine, but only if I choose one of two options (Include Excerpt or Include Entry Body). I'd personally prefer it to notify by default, but does that mean it notifies on a Draft entry? It might be nice to just send a link to the entry without any body/except - but I'm not sure that's possible with the current implementation.
I'll have to think some more on this.

MG Rover Goes Under
As many people know I own an MG ZR. The company that makes them, MG-Rover, has been in the news a lot recently since they've just gone bust!
The UK government has been throwing money at the company trying to keep it afloat long enough for the Chinese to maybe step in and rescue it, but that still looks like it's a long shot (that will miss).
If the company folds, over 6000 people will be out of jobs (not just MGR workers but employees of many other companies that supply parts etc to MGR), and the Midlands will be hit very hard.
What's also terrible about this is that MG-Rover are no longer honouring the warranties on their cars. This affects me, and right now I don't know what to do about it! I guess I will have to phone my dealer and ask them what they're going to do - honour it themselves or get me to pay. *sigh*

Who Should You Vote For?

Who should I vote for?
Your expected outcome:
ConservativeYour actual outcome:
| Labour -2 | |
You should vote: UK Independence Party
UKIP's primary focus is on Europe, where the party is strongly against joining both the EU constitution and the Euro. UKIP is also firmly in favour of limiting immigration. The party does not take a clear line on some other policy issues, but supports scrapping university tuition fees; it is strongly against income tax rises and favour reducing fuel duty.

General Election 2005
Our "Glorious Leader" Tony Blair was supposed to announce the date of the UK General Election today, but he's decided to put it off till Monday due to the Pope's death yesterday.
I think everyone in the UK already knows when it'll be, and it was confirmed for my family Saturday morning when we checked the post. We had already received our polling cards!
The date of the election will be on the 5th of May 2005.
Seems rather odd to have sent out polling cards before the date has been officially decided/announced. Guess that's what happens when you have a Labour government in charge. ;)
