How To Ruin A Friendship
Received by my mail server at 05:09 this morning, I read it at 14:45 this afternoon... after I'd already been told by someone else. So much for being the first to know.
Alex,
I wanted to write to you so that I would be the first to tell you this so it came from me rather than someone else... you know how hottub is... the drama abounds...I was seeing someone recently and as of Sunday, I am now engaged. I'm not trying to start any problems, I just wanted to tell you and let you know myself rather than taking the cowards way out and letting someone else do it. I still think the world of you and value our friendship. I hope that this does not cause that friendship unreparable* harm...(sp?) I should be online later, but my job right now is to complete LOTS of paperwork, so I am unable to do the irc thing at work, so i will wait until i get home. I hope to talk to you then...
