Mozilla Firefox 1.0PR

We're getting closer to a full release of my favourite web browser - Firefox. I don't know why people still insist on using Internet Explorer, when it's full of holes, terrible web standards support (CSS/PNG etc) and basically just broken.

Unfortunately for those (including me) that embrace the web standards of CSS1, CSS2 and XHTML there are still sites which only work in IE, probably because they were only designed to work in it, instead of sticking to a proper standard... and there's also Windows Update and Office Update which use ActiveX controls and will never work in anything but IE, but apart from those few sites, the majority works brilliantly (and faster!) in Firefox.

The time to switch is now!

Download the Firefox 1.0 Preview Release then spread the word!

I have made an entry with links to all the Extensions I have installed in Firefox to make my life so much easier. This is kept as up to date as possible.
